Summary of License Terms

A single user license allows one person to install and use CrystMol on one computer at his/her normal work site.  That same person may also install and use CrystMol on a laptop computer or a home computer for use by the same person away from the normal work site, including both travel and work at home.  The purchaser/organization is responsible for ensuring that the number of users does not exceed the number of single user licenses that have been purchased.

A site license provides all employees of an organization within a radius of 160 kilometers (100 miles) of the site with single user licenses.  The organization does not have to keep track of the number of users at the site.  If the organization is a teaching institution, students who are actively taking courses or doing research are considered "employees" for the purposes of this site license.  When employees (or students) leave the organization, they may not continue to use the site license.

A world-wide license provides all employees of an organization on the planet Earth with a single user license.  Terms are the same as for the site license, with the geographic restriction removed.
