Support Available
Support for CrystMol is provided by the developer, Dave Duchamp, as time is available. You should seek support if you have trouble installing CrystMol, if you encounter an error in the program, or if you have exhausted the available documentation and cannot understand how to perform an operation. Before requesting support, please consult the documentation that came with CrystMol. Short questions and/or error reports are free of charge. More extensive questions or hand-holding support may involve payment of a consulting fee (if you approach the free/charge boundary, you will be informed).
Support Requests and Error Reports
Support requests and error reports should be sent via email to cmsupport@crystmol.com , or via surface mail to CrystMol, 6209 Litchfield Lane, Kalamazoo, MI, 49009-9159, USA. When sending in an error report, please include enough information to allow the developer to reproduce the error, including the structure file that is displayed when the error occurs. Use e-mail attachments or media (CD or floppy) if necessary. Response times for support requests will vary depending on the availability of the developer and the urgency of the support request. For error reports, response times will also be strongly influenced by the severity of the error and by the ability of the developer to reproduce the error from the information supplied. Enhancement Suggestions
The developer welcomes suggestions for enhancements from registered users. All enhancement suggestions sent in by registered users will be considered seriously for implementation in the next or future versions of CrystMol.
